What?! It's been more than a YEAR?!

Sheeshkabob, how does time pass so fast? I guess it flies by when you're juggling multiple balls?

A couple thoughts of the last year

The Good

• WE GOT MARRIED! People came and danced and played board games. Overall, great success!

• The first hurdles of home ownership happened - we got a leak the WEEK OF THE WEDDING so we scrambled to finish our fast remodeling and fixes to host a wedding reception.

• We're headed to our honeymoon to Europe!

• SO MANY OF OUR FRIENDS GOT ENGAGED/MARRIED! I bet there's some sort of predictor as to type of wedding a person will plan related to their social media activities.

The Bad

• Politics - US & Abroad. There's a trend in nationalism and I wonder if there's some interesting insights and trends we can map and weird correlations. That should be a fun side project!

• I haven't updated and worked on as many side projects as I wanted to. I didn't realize that planning a wedding and getting a new job would take up so much time. Well, now that things have stabilized some more - time to dive straight into weird analysis and look at fun visualizations again!

Let's see where this goes. I'm using this blog to keep myself accountable! Woohoo!
