Managing All the Life Changes

I have read that one should never undertake major life changes at the same time. Generally, life changes include:
Getting married/ planning a wedding
Changing jobs
Purchasing a new home.
It looks like that this time, the life came up to me and went, “You know what, you’ve been doing such a great job managing – we’re going to promote you and you can manage 3 large projects ALL AT ONCE.”
The only way I can see through this is to default back on my consulting background. I am officially project managing my life.
For the first time since high school, I am not reporting to a job/ class/ deadline set by other folks and it’s really freeing.
So here’s what I learned in the last couple of weeks:
Prioritize, prioritize, prioritize: if you don’t have any priority, you end up walking around in a fog of murky frustration
Set timelines and goals: it’s important to keep yourself accountable! Having a timeline and goal gives a vision and establishes priorities
Give yourself a break: how many times in your life do you get to really concentrate on yourself? Focus and don’t beat yourself up too much
Make new friends and be a better friend: Remember to make new friends and connect with old ones! Humans are social, interaction makes us all happier
